The only change the client made from our original design was to widen the band slightly to allow the details to come through more clearly. Strings and frets are highlighted with black antiquing to enhance the details, and the top surface of the body is brushed while the rest of the band is polished. To do this, we used the body of the guitar as the base for the center diamond setting, and we made the band from the neck of the guitar. The client’s vision was to have the ring entirely made in the shape of a guitar wrapped around the finger.
